Cider Jelly 1 qt Apple cider
2/3 c Red hots candy
1 pk Powdered fruit pectin -- 1 3/4 oz
5 c Sugar
In a large kettle. heat cider, red hots and pectin, stirring often. bring to a full rolling boil. Add sugar; return to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. boil for 1 min. remove from the heat; skim off any foam. Pour hot into hat jars, leaving 1/4 in. headspace. Adjust caps. Process for 10 min. in a boiling-water bath. Yield about 6 half-pints.
