Tabasco Jelly 3 c Sugar
1 c Water
1/3 c Lemon juice
4 tb -up to 6 tb Tabasco sauce
1/3 c -plus 1 tb Liquid pectin
Red food coloring; optional
In a heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, water, lemon juice and Tabasco sauce, bringing to a boil over medium heat. Add liquid pectin. Allow to come to a boil; boil for 1 minutes. Add food coloring, if desired. (The food coloring helps make a prettier jelly.) Pour into sterilized jars.
