Peach And Cherry Jam

1 lg Orange, unpelled
6 lb Peaches
6 lb Sugar
12 oz Bottle maraschino cherries, cut in pieces, juice reserved

Put peaches and orange thru meat grinder after the peaches have been peeled and stoned. Boil peach pulp with sugar for 3/4 of an hour. Then add the cherries and boil 15 minutes longer. Pour into jars, cover and process.
