Freezer Strawberry Jam 4 c Strawberries,fresh,crushed well
1 pk Pectin,powdered; 2-oz
1 c Corn syrup,light
5 1/2 c Sugar
4 tb Lemon juice
Crush strawberries well and then put into a 2-quart pan. Stir vigorously while slowly sifting in the powdered pectin. Let stand for 20 minutes; stir strawberries occasionally to dissolve the pectin. Pour in corn syrup and mix well. Gradually stir in sugar. When sugar is completely dissolved, stir in lemon juice. Ladle jam into jars, cover and place in freezer for 24 hours. Jam can be stored in refrigerator after the freezing time.
